New report looks at challenges for French stakeholders on tropical forests

The National Group on Tropical Forests (French abbreviation: GNFT) developed a report that summarises major tropical forest issues and reviews the main lines of action taken by French stakeholders. This is the third in a series of reports published by the GNFT since 2006.

The report, Tropical forests: taking stock and new challenges. What guidance for French
stakeholders?, draws up a new roadmap and French policy on tropical forests. The GNFT proposes policy and strategy guidance for French stakeholders to address current challenges, not only in France's overseas territories but also with partner countries. Stakeholders include ministries and government agencies, the private sector, the scientific community and non-governmental organisations.
